Black Clover Final Arc

On the seventh level of the underworld, Lucius Zogratis defeats the other half of Lucifero and consumes the devil's heart. Although delayed by the mysterious absence of Damnatio Kira, the Devil Trial eventually resumes and declares Asta and Secre Swallowtail innocent. A year and three months after the raid on the Spade Kingdom, a special awards ceremony is held for Asta. The Captains, Asta's foster family, and some fellow Magic Knights attend the ceremony, in which Asta is raised to 1st Class Senior Magic Knight. Yuno—now a Grand Magic Knight—is with the Golden Dawn and the others Black Bulls investigating devil activity on the outskirts of the Clover Kingdom. After the ceremony, Asta takes Sister Lily aside and proposes to her for the final time. She once again refuses, which he accepts, and voices her support in his dream to become Magic Emperor. They are interrupted by the arrival of Lucius.[1] The others initially mistake Lucius as Julius Novachrono, but Asta quickly senses that they are different. Lucius then freezes time for everyone in the tower, but before he can touch Asta's forehead, Asta activates his black form and negates the magic on himself. Lucius claims that Julius is dead, and explains his plan to remake the world and rule over it as the final Magic Emperor. Intent on stopping Lucius and saving Julius, Asta unites with Liebe, negates the Time Magic, and challenges Lucius.
