Charlie Puth Can’t Stop Simping Over BTS’s Jungkook

American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth and BTS‘s Jungkook have released their much-anticipated collaboration single “Left and Right.”

In a recent interview with iHeartRadio‘s Z100 New York, Charlie Puth spilled all details regarding his collaboration with the BTS maknae. Of course, everyone wanted to know how the collab came to be in the first place!

"He immediately came to mind because, and by the way, I didn’t even know they were going on a ‘hiatus’ when I reached out to him and asked if he’d like to be part of it." — Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth explained that a large factor was that he and Jungkook are genuine friends. So, host Maxwell wanted to know if that was the case and if the two singers cozied up and went ear-to-ear for their cover art photoshoot.

"The cover art to this song here is, for the world to see… Did you guys actually touch ears?" — Maxwell

Charlie Puth immediately got flustered by the question but confessed that he and Jungkook really had been that close for the shoot, which was actually stills from the music video! The cover art itself is inspired by iconic 90s boybands, such as The Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.

Yet, when the interviewer likened Charlie Puth and Jungkook’s relationship to that of brothers or friends, Puth instead gushed about how handsome Jungkook is! We certainly can’t blame him.

Maxwell: To have that brotherhood, to have that friendship to where it’s okay to touch ears…

Charlie Puth: Mmhmm.

Maxwell: But it’s just like … it naturally comes through even in the cover art, man.

Charlie Puth: I mean, he’s a handsome guy.

Still, that’s not all. In every interview, Charlie Puth can’t help but simp over Jungkook.

Charlie Puth also appeared on Hits 1‘s Morning Mash Up to promote “Left and Right.” Again, he was asked how he chose Jungkook to feature on the song. Co-host Nicole especially wondered how one could pick one among all seven BTS members.

"I feel like I would be nervous to like choose the wrong like… What if like… Were the other guys … did they feel left out? Were their feelings hurt?" — Nicole

Charlie Puth explained that he wasn’t quite sure. His collaboration was natural since he had always had a connection to Jungkook.

"Oh, I don’t know. They’re all very talented." — Charlie Puth

While he hadn’t always been ARMY, he became a mutual fan and then a friend of all the members. Yet, Jungkook especially had stood out, and Puth again couldn’t stop gushing when talking about him. Like the rest of us, he can’t get over how handsome Jungkook is.

Charlie Puth: Jungkook is a very attractive human.

Nicole: He is. He really is beautiful. The thing that you posted…

Charlie Puth: No, but I was like… Wow.

Puth and Nicole referenced Howard Stern‘s famous “Hey now!” phrase when describing their reaction to Jungkook.

Nicole: You were like, “Hey now!”

Charlie Puth: Like “Hey now!”

Nicole: Okay!

ARMYs already thought “Left and Right” seemed to depict a gay relationship. While it’s a love song, the only people featured in the MV are Charlie Puth, Jungkook, and a therapist. All three even appear onscreen together, possibly implying couple’s therapy.

All we have to say is that it’s clear that Charlie Puth and Jungkook’s chemistry for the MV was not faked! Previously, Puth shared behind-the-scenes clips, showcasing their chemistry on and off the screen. Check out more below:

BTS’s Jungkook Has The Funniest Response To An ARMY Asking Him To Wash The Dishes During His Live Broadcast

When it comes to live broadcasts, idols are given a bit more freedom in the way they can interact with fans which unsurprisingly creates some iconic and hilarious moments. Recently, BTS‘s Jungkook did exactly that when he decided to surprise fans with a special broadcast from the kitchen.

After BTS’s FESTA Dinner, Jungkook showed his true colors by turning on VLIVE to address those rumors. Things quickly became chaotic and Jungkook treated ARMYs to a karaoke session where he sang everything from Jin‘s “Super Tuna” and found his inner rapper when doing Suga‘s part from “That That.”

If that wasn’t random enough, one moment that has definitely caught the attention of fans was all to do with doing the dishes. While singing, Jungkook noticed a comment in the live chat and shared it, saying, “You are telling me you want me to do the dishes instead of singing?”

Instead of ignoring it as other idols might, Jungkook took matters into his own hands and had the most unexpected answer. The idol quickly got up and started looking around before explaining, “It just so happens that I have dishes [to wash]. I have dishes to do.”

Jungkook then shocked fans even more by walking over to the sink, and he actually started putting soap onto a sponge and washing up. It was almost as if ARMY had dared him, and he wanted to prove them wrong. He said, “Didn’t you think I could do it? I can do it.”

He then started properly washing up the dishes he’d shown ARMYs earlier on and was definitely getting into it, putting a lot of effort into making the dishes shine. He also scolded ARMYs who might not have thought he could do it, adding that he was very skilled at doing the dishes.

"In fact, I’m very good at washing dishes. Do you see how I move my hands? This snap? This is what you call a technique." — Jungkook

He then added to the hilariousness by explaining that his skills were so good that he would’ve been perfect if he had the role of a housewife… until reality hit and he realized that he was washing up on a live broadcast.

"If I was a housewife, I would have done a great job. I can wash the big dishes easily. Thanks to the wrist snap. I can’t believe I’m washing dishes while I’m doing a live." — Jungkook

Yet, he carried on washing up and even shared more of his beautiful vocals until he had finished doing them all, sorted out the sink, and then eventually made his way back to his seat.

As always, Jungkook makes sure to make live broadcasts fun and ARMYs couldn’t believe that millions of people were watching him do the dishes. Yet, it was similar only a few days earlier when millions of people watched fellow member V napping during his own broadcast.

BTS might be the biggest group in the world but they have never stopped having fun. Jungkook’s live broadcast proved that his relationship with ARMY is as strong as ever and he is still the cheeky idol that debuted back in 2013.

A YouTuber Randomly Met Jungkook In An Alley… All Because He Needed To Pee!

One lucky man now has his bladder to thank for a chance encounter with BTS‘s Jungkook.

One Korean YouTuber by the name of YAN posted these photos on Instagram (@yan.youtube), promising to reveal the story behind them soon.

True to his word, YAN uploaded his video the next day. On the night he met Jungkook, YAN was out drinking and reminiscing with old friends.

Little did YAN know that this ordinary gathering was about to take a surprising turn. After drinking his fill, YAN went off in search of a restroom to empty his bladder. Unfortunately, the place he and his friends were at didn’t have a restroom, so he had to go out and search for one.

After he finally found a restroom, YAN made his way back to friends by walking through an alley. Suddenly, a stranger in a bucket hat approached YAN to say hello. As a YouTuber, YAN gets recognized by fans in public, but he had no idea that this “fan” has millions of his own!

At first, YAN mistook Jungkook for a student.

The combination of Jungkook’s hat, which was pulled low, and the alley’s darkness made it difficult for YAN to recognize the star.

At one point during their small talk, Jungkook mentioned BTS, but YAN didn’t quite hear it. “He talked very respectfully with a gentle voice,” YAN recalled, “I didn’t hear exactly, but I caught the word BTS.” Even once Jungkook’s words registered, YAN couldn’t believe it. Meeting BTS on the street? It doesn’t happen!

Even after Jungkook kindly agreed to take photos together, and they’d said their goodbyes, YAN didn’t really believe what had just happened. Neither did his friends!

It was only after YAN saw the photos on his phone the next morning that the reality sank in. He really did meet Jungkook, and it’s all because he needed to pee!
