Adachitoka’s brainchild Noragami has been popular among supernatural fans for a long time now. The mythical references mixed with various fantasy elements continue to fascinate the lovers of both action and urban fantasy genres.
Recently, the manga completed its Ooharai arc, which ended up in a chaotic situation that put many lives on the line. While Father was busy confronting Amaterasu and the other gods, Yato, Yukine, and Hiyori were struggling with their own issues.
If you thought the Ooharai arc was brutal, just wait for what Adachitoka has planned for the finale. The Noragami manga entered the Final arc with its 100th episode, and fans can’t help but feel scared and excited about what’s going to happen.
With Yato trying to save Yukine from himself as the shinki discovers his past and realizes he’s dead. Yato tries to comfort the distraught Yukine but can’t help but notice the changes in his behavior.
Yukine then asks Yato to reveal everything about his death and where he’s buried. With a heavy heart, Yato tells the shinki how the God gave him a proper burial in a warm place overlooking mesmerizing scenery.
When asked about the letters Yukine sent to his sister Yuka when he was alive, Yato reveals that he buried those along with his body. Moreover, Yukine is now aware of his true name, Haruki, and Yato blames himself for the time when the shinki gets transformed into a Karma ayakashi.
Yato recalls what happened to Sakura when he revealed her true name and fears the same will happen to Yukine if he doesn’t do anything to prevent it.
There’s not much left in the manga, and Adachitoka seems to have something mind-blowing lined up for the finale.
