It seems like we might have an engaged couple on board! As per reports, Thor director Taika Waititi and songstress Rita Ora are engaged! A source has further informed that the pair is planning an intimate, low-key ceremony very shortly with an extravagant party that might be scheduled for later this summer.
An insider said that the pair didn’t do the whole proposal thing, ring, or the big romantic build-up! The pair has not even made it all official on social media. However, as per the insider, the two just got closer and closer and eventually said to each other almost simultaneously that they want to marry each other.
The pair are reportedly planning a low-key wedding ceremony!
The two have been dating for almost a year now and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of Suicide Squad. While they are seeing each other for a year, Rita Ora and Taika has been friends for years.
Earlier in February this year, the Body On Me hitmaker paired a sweet tribute to her beau while tanking her for being cool and wished the Thor director on Valentine’s Day. The post came along with a series of adorable pictures. The director has also hyped up his ladylove during their red carpet appearances.
As an insider pointed out, it is just about them being in love and deciding the time is right to formalize their relationship as the star couple! The pair couldn’t be happier and are reportedly not wasting much time planning a wedding planner. However, both of them have a lot going on for them as Ora is currently working on several film projects while also serving as a coach on The Voice Australia. Meanwhile, Taika Waititi is also in production on a number of movies of his own, along with an untitled Star Wars film.
