Two dramas climbed to new heights last night!
On June 15, KBS 2TV’s new drama “Jinxed at First” saw a rise in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the fantasy romance starring Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun and Na In Woo scored an average nationwide rating of 4.3 percent last night, securing its position as the most-watched Wednesday-Thursday drama of the evening.
Based on a hit webtoon, “Jinxed at First” tells the story of what happens when a poor, unlucky man stumbles upon a goddess of fortune, who has jumped out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family. Na In Woo stars as the “jinxed” fish seller Gong Soo Kwang, while Seohyun stars as Seul Bi, who has the special power of being able to see a person’s future when she touches them.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Eve” achieved its highest viewership ratings to date with its sixth episode. The romance-revenge drama starring Seo Ye Ji, Lee Sang Yeob, and Park Byung Eun scored an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent, marking a new personal record for the show.
Finally, JTBC’s new drama “Insider” remained relatively stable with an average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent for its fourth episode.
